How the Precession Vortex Flow Meter Works
The flow sensor's profile resembles a Venturi tube, with helical guide vanes on the inlet side. As fluid enters, these vanes generate a powerful swirling motion.
In the diffusion section, the swirling flow interacts with backflow, initiating a secondary rotation known as gyroscopic vortex precession. The frequency of this precession is directly proportional to the flow rate and is independent of the fluid's physical properties.

Signal Processing and Display
